Adoption stories come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. As a Chinese-American adoptee, I felt isolated from my peers because I had a different life story and no one to talk to or relate to. Each of the interviewees in this project is also an adoptee from China. While the skeletons of their stories are similar, each has different experiences, opinions, and traumas.
